Adjunct therapy

Hyperbaric Therapy

Time in a pressurized hyperbaric chamber, offered as a complement to chiropractic care to support recovery and overall wellness.

Hyperbaric therapy has you rest comfortably inside a pressurized chamber for a set period of time. The pressure is gentle and the session is passive. There is nothing to do but relax, read, or rest while the time runs, and most people find it calm and easy.

In a wellness setting it is offered as an adjunct, something layered alongside chiropractic care rather than a standalone treatment. The general idea is to support the body’s natural recovery processes. It is one more tool that can be added to a plan when it fits.

Whether hyperbaric therapy belongs in your care depends on your situation and your health history. If Dr. DeCloedt recommends it, he will walk you through what it involves and how it fits alongside the rest of your care, and he reviews whether it is appropriate for you first.
