Recovery support
Cold Laser Therapy
A painless, low-level light therapy commonly used alongside chiropractic care to support tissue recovery and ease inflammation.
Cold laser, sometimes called low-level laser therapy, applies focused light to a specific area of the body. It works at a low intensity that produces no heat and almost no sensation, so a session is painless. You will not feel much beyond the applicator resting on your skin.
The light is used to support the body’s recovery in the spot it is aimed at, which is why it is commonly added to care for a recovering joint or area of soft tissue. A session takes only a few minutes, there are no needles, and there is no downtime, so it slots easily into a regular visit.
Cold laser is a complement to hands-on care, not a replacement for it. If it makes sense for what you are working through, Dr. DeCloedt will add it to your plan and explain what it is meant to support. Whether it fits is reviewed during your visit.
